Ongoing Community Based Projects

The UAACC motto is "Sharing Knowledge through Community Development"
and we take this motto very seriously!

We have several ongoing, daily programs which target the youth in our community including computer classes, art and craft classes, music, history, health and nutrition, sports and yoga as well as English classes .

There are HIV/AIDS awareness and outreach programs that encourage expression through the arts such as community theater, song and poetry. Our basic classes are supplemented by knowledge shared by visitors to the center in various areas of expertise.

Computer classes are an important part of what we offer our community.  We recently inaugurated the newly refurbished and equipped Malcolm X Computer Lab which includes wireless connections and projector unit and screen

UAACC is one of several institutions in Arusha who have been granted free internet connection by the Philanthropic Society of Arusha Node Marie. Go to http://eol.habari.co.tz/ to find out more about this community program. 

So whether it be sports, language, art, music, dance, yoga or
what ever...there is always something exciting going on at
UAACC, one of the most active community centers in Tanzania!
